18. Baby Triplets. At the doctor’s

Triplet Triad

Please don’t wake up, I said, begging the triplets resting in my swollen male womb to stay asleep as I hefted my 9 months pregnant body out of bed to pee for the 3rd time that night

I thought I’d gotten used to being so big, but it was still an ordeal to heft myself out of bed, my gravid belly swaying slightly with the motion as I shuffled as quickly as I could with swollen ankles to relieve my shrunken bladder.

Having sat down and peed, I rubbed my belly, enjoying how maternal I felt in this state, a surrogate for hire because of how well the procedure worked for me and the pay not bad considering mpreg babies got a premium compared to regular pregnancies.

Triplets weren’t the most common for me, though I had gotten knocked up a fair share of times in the last 10 years and twins occurred the most often, making me big, but not nearly as massive as triplets did to my artificial womb.

The babies were still sleeping, small miracle that it was, as I decided to get a midnight snack, belly grumbling from hunger, feeding three babies and myself a constant process throughout the day.

I knew what we all were craving, but I knew it would wake them up and I’d have to get them back to sleep somehow, probably just leisurely strolling through the house in my underwear as I tended to anyway, knowing I needed the exercise anyway for the impending birth.

The open fridge beckoned to me with all it had, but I looked down, my mound blocking the freezer door from view as I crouched slightly to pull it open and reach for the mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I opened a bag of gummi worms, taking it with me as I opened the carton and dug in with a serving spoon, not even caring about shame at this point.

“You asked for it,” I said, one hand resting on my bump as I sat on the couch, turning on the TV to have something in the background as I sustained the three lives in me.

Not more than a minute later, the sugar hit the little ones and they all starting thrashing, nearly in unison as the kicking of the lower one caused the upper two to start punching and flailing away as well

“At least I finished peeing. Last time I decided to do this, you made me pee myself because I still hadn’t gone, since you were that hungry. Glad to see we’re more in sync than a few months ago,”

The lower baby responded with a kick that made me release a long fart, my eyes narrowing slightly as I playfully slapped the base of my baby factory.

“No sass from you. You’re the first one coming out and you’re head first. Feel free to drop any day now. You three are due pretty soon,”

The other two were nicer than their sibling, though I had been kicked in my boobs a few times when they were especially antsy, their size and activity a bit more than my last broods of three.

I had the carton nearly finished when my belly grumbled again, likely from eating so fast. My hands moved to massage my belly, relieving the pressure somehow.

The triplets’ thrashing around made me change my mind, deciding to get that exercise I mentioned before. It was a bit of a challenge, but with some rocking back and forth, I managed to pull myself up off the couch, both hands moving immediately to my back to take some of the pressure off from that exertion.

“Oof,” I grunted as I felt the rumblings in my tummy all the more now with everything settling.

My trek through the house started, still just in a bra and panties as I tended to be, summer or winter as it was. I was due near Thanksgiving this time, so the jokes about me popping like a turkey were pretty common at this point, though people had a joke for any season of the year: Easter I was an egg, Christmas, I was Santa and Mother and Father’s day were both fair game.

I was nervous in the past about showing off my massive body, especially when my first surrogacy was triplets, but around the third pregnancy, I’d lost any sense of caring what people might think, since I did this out of the kindness of my heart. The pay was decent, though I donated a portion of it to charities for research into artificial wombs. It was both an investment and further charity on my part, since I didn’t want to seem ungrateful to the people that had allowed this to happen in the first place for someone like me.

Giving my belly a scratch, I sighed a bit as I took a pause to stretch: as much as I could anyway, the babies somewhat calm for now.

That changed as I noticed them shifting around, possibly fighting for position to be the first out of their dad-mom, but I was sure something else was off, nearly 9 surrogacies in giving me something of an instinct on these things. I rushed to the bathroom, getting the camera out and turning it on as I started recording.

“Well, looks like I’ve gotten better at this: pretty sure my preggo sense just activated for the grand dropping again,”

I positioned things so my viewers on YT could see my belly slowly shift downwards, more oblong in shape now as the baby, whichever one it was now, lodged itself in my hips as I grunted in a mix of pain and pleasure.

“Never gets old, always feels amazing to change like that. Giving birth in a few weeks at the latest, so until then, bye everyone!”

I shook my head as I stopped the video, never thinking I’d be like the girls I watched occasional pregnancy progress videos of back in the day, though it felt nice in a way to have a group of followers, even if it always had that tinge of creepiness he remembered some of them expressing with the fetish angle.

Pushing that aside, I continued my waddle through the house, still feeling energized after moving forward towards the big day, the triplets surprisingly calm, possibly because they knew things wouldn’t be so comfy eventually once they were born.

I’ll miss you guys kicking me awake, thrashing around when we eat craving food and just generally making me huge and pregnant. But would you really want to have so many half siblings? I thought to myself, chuckling as I finished up my walk and headed to bed, laying on my side as I ran my hands over my rippling womb, the triplets sleep shifting as we both slowly fell back into slumber.

A few weeks later, I was still very pregnant, the doctor saying I needed to get things moving or they’d have to induce me, which they really didn’t want to.

I agreed, being 2 weeks overdue with triplets no picnic for anyone: me because I was still growing at times and the doctor because triplets usually came around their due date, but I was a tough womb and they wanted to stay in me, even though my cervix was thinning and they’d already fully engaged.

There were a number of ways I induced contractions in myself, if not outright breaking my waters, and the first was the toughest, though I wanted to end the day with a hot bath to pamper myself one last time before the end if labor didn’t start. And I had a feeling I might be in labor anyway with my routine being pretty effective and reliable.

I did a series of squats, getting my pelvic floor loosened up, but also jiggling the babies around, who expressed their distaste at things being shaken up by pummeling my organs mercilessly.

After some more prenatal calisthenics, having worked up a good sweat, I ate the common foods for inducing the end of overdue pregnancies: pineapples, peppers, the works.

“Ugh,” I groaned as I patted my gurgling tummy, “You guys never make it easy, do you? Either the labor itself is harder or you stick around longer and then come out quickly. Never a happy medium with mpregnancy,” I said with a chuckle, a groan soon following as that just made me feel nauseous from everything in my smaller stomach, squished by three full term babies

Letting things settle for a bit, I watched a video to remind myself of general prep for labor, doing some Kegels in the meantime

After that was watching some scary movies, the shock sometimes enough to pop my cork after stubborn babies decided they didn’t want to be born yet. It was harder every time to find a movie that actually scared me, getting used to the jump scares that originally were the impulse to break the waters for the first set of triplets I carried.

I was moderately frightened by the atmosphere and such, though more creeped out than anything. Some more prenatal exercise was in order after I ate a footlong sub sandwich in the span of 10 minutes, my appetite still good with labor on the horizon.

I’d sweated a good deal again, the babies actually sleeping for once as I decided to end the day off with a relaxing bath.

I took a mirror selfie, wanting to document how big I was before I inevitably popped out 3 more babies and waited a few months before getting pregged up again. Even with one of the triplets dropped, there was still roundness to the belly, possibly because I had more amniotic fluid and it balanced things out, though I definitely felt the difference, having endured it for 2 weeks and used to it at this point, pee breaks much more frequent than before.

As I admired my gravid form, I decided to take another video for the fans, getting on my bra and a robe to keep myself decent, since I wasn’t becoming a cam girl or such anytime soon.

“Getting a bath soon, which might get the babies thinking with reverse psychology that it’s too hot and they wanna be born. I’m 2 weeks overdue, which I know a lot of you find exciting: it’s fun for me too in a way, though I’d like to lose the baby weight soon and start over again with another family to provide children for,”

The bath let out a tone to tell me it was done filling, which was my cue to end the video with a peace sign and a rub of my bump.

I slowly waddled over to the bathtub, sighing as I knew it’d be an ordeal regardless of what happened to get out, even with the pregnant conscious add-ons to assist.

“Here goes nothing you three,” I said, submerging myself inch by inch as I felt the exhaustion melt away. After that workout, I wouldn’t be surprised if I took a pregnant siesta in the tub like I did the last few times this happened.

It was very relaxing, the babies reacting for a bit to the heat and bumping around in the cramped quarters they shared, but eventually following their mom-dad’s cue and taking a much needed rest.

The water was getting chilled as I woke up suddenly with a sharp pain in my womb. Thinking it was a contraction, I started my breathing and waited the next round. It came faster than I expected and stronger as I cried out with the suddenness and then gasped as I felt a release in my nethers.

The water’s temperature changed in that area, signaling that my waters had broken.

“Well, this is it, hope you guys are ready to come out,”

Please don’t fall out of me like that one pregnancy with the twins. I begged as I moved to pull myself out of the tub and get ready for the midwife.

I fell pregnant with TRIPLETS on our first date even though I was on the Pill

Hannah Donaghue, 29, from Northampton, had already fallen pregnant twice before while taking the contraceptive

HANNAH Donaghue had already welcomed two surprise babies after falling pregnant twice while taking the contraceptive pill.

Eight years later, having changed to a different pill, Hannah bumped into an old flame at a party — and one thing led to another.

But neither she nor Ben Fagan, 30, were prepared for what was in store, as their night of passion had resulted in Hannah, now 29, from Northampton, falling pregnant again — this time with THREE babies.

Thankfully Ben stuck by her, and the couple welcomed their adorable trio via caesarean at 32 weeks in October last year.

Hannah has since given up on the pill — but her and Ben are loving being a family of seven.

Here, she shares her incredible story with Fabulous Digital.

I stared at the pregnancy test stick in my hand. There they were, the unmistakable little blue lines. I couldn’t believe it. I was pregnant – AGAIN. For the third time.

The first time I’d fallen pregnant while taking the contraceptive pill I’d assumed I was just one of the one per cent of women who got unlucky.

I was 18 and living in a one-bedroom flat with my boyfriend, so it certainly wasn’t planned and I was nowhere near ready to start a family.

But when our daughter Megan, now 10, was born I took to motherhood straight away. I’d worked in a nursery so caring for her came naturally to me, but I wasn’t planning on having another any time soon.

I went to the GP and switched my pill, then made sure I took it religiously at the same time every day.

But just two months later, I felt a familiar twinge and realised my period was late — it couldn’t have happened again, surely?

When I saw those two little blue lines in the window I almost fainted. I had no idea how we’d cope and was dreading having to explain to people what had happened again when I was on the pill.

Thankfully my mum was incredibly supportive and soon enough I was back on the labour ward where I gave birth to another baby girl, Charlie, now eight.

Not wanting to take any more chances, I switched to the contraceptive implant. But eight years later I began having problems with it and went back on the pill.

I’d split up with my boyfriend at this point and wasn’t looking to meet anyone new.

But then I bumped into Ben at a party. I’d known him years earlier and there was definite chemistry between us, and that night we ended up going home together.

Afterwards my period arrived as normal — but two weeks later I woke up feeling something wet in my pyjama bottoms. I looked down and there was blood everywhere.

I took myself to hospital, where doctors examined me and said I could be pregnant.

Shell-shocked, I called Ben and he rushed to the hospital, where I was then taken for a scan.

I lay on the table and the sonographer ran the scanner over my stomach. «There’s one heartbeat,» she said. «And there’s the second one.»

I thought I’d misheard her. How could there possibly be two babies in there?

«And there’s the third one,» she added. What? She was telling me I was pregnant with three babies?!

I thought she must have been joking. I was still in shock as she pointed out the three heartbeats flickering on the screen.

I couldn’t believe it — and neither could Ben. I hadn’t even been expecting to fall pregnant with one baby again — let alone three.

The triplets were all non-identical, meaning they had all been conceived from a different egg.

They each had their own placenta and own amniotic sac. So not only had my body managed to fall pregnant while I was on the pill, it had managed to produce three separate eggs all at once — and they had all fertilised.

After a few minutes, Ben joked: «We’re going to need a limo for all these.»

I was thrilled when Ben said he wanted us to raise a family together, and we began to make plans. At the 10 week scan doctors suggested a reduction, but the pair of us didn’t even need to discuss it. We were having all three.

At 16 weeks we found out we were having two girls and a boy. My bump was growing much faster than before and friends and family couldn’t believe it when we told them what had happened.

During my pregnancy Ben and I began dating properly. Even though we were expecting three children together, we didn’t want to rush things.

My pregnancy all went smoothly until 28 weeks, when the triplets’ movements started to reduce.

Doctors gave me steroids to develop their lungs in case they had to be delivered early.

Even though we were expecting three children together, we didn’t want to rush things

I managed to hang on until I was 32 weeks pregnant and then doctors delivered sisters Ella Rose and Kasey and brother Lester by caesarean.

They were so tiny but they were really strong and we were allowed to take them home after 18 days. By this point, Ben had moved in and for the first few weeks it felt like a whirlwind had hit the house.

The triplets have more than doubled our family and we are looking to move to a four-bedroom house, as space is currently tight for a family of seven.

Texas woman gives birth to triplets; two babies conjoined

A South Texas woman has given birth to triplet girls, with two of the babies conjoined at the pelvis.

Dr. Haroon Patel, a pediatric surgeon at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, said Monday that it will likely be at least six months until the conjoined babies, who share a colon, will be separated.

Catalina, Ximena and Scarlett were born Saturday at Corpus Christi Medical Center-Bay Area, said hospital spokeswoman Lisa Robertson. She said the conjoined girls—Ximena and Scarlett—were transferred Sunday to Driscoll.

Patel said the conjoined babies, who were in good condition Monday at the hospital, will need to get «bigger and stronger» before undergoing separation surgery. He also said doctors will need time to work on a plan to separate the girls.

Robertson said the girls were born to Silvia Hernandez of Brownsville via cesarean section, at about 34 weeks. A normal pregnancy is about 41 weeks. Each baby weighed 4 pounds, 11 ounces (2.12 kilograms). They were breathing without respirators.

Catalina remains at Corpus Christi Medical Center-Bay Area in good condition.

Hernandez and husband Raul Torres also have 2-year-old son.
